Bridal Party Tank Tops

I got the idea to make these cute tank tops for my girls while browsing on Etsy.  I saw them listed for between $20 and $30 each.  I realized that with my DIY method I could shatter that price.  I managed to get it down to less than $3 each.

Materials List:
Iron-On Bridal Rhinestuds (get at any craft store)
Tank Top

As soon as you have gathered all your materials make sure that you have a clean work space.  I decided to use my ironing board and it worked out great.

1. Preheat you iron on the DRY wool setting.  Do NOT use steam.

2. Place tank top on ironing board and smooth out the wrinkles.

3. Gently peel clear layer away from backing sheet.

4. Place the clear layer in the desired position on the tank top with the adhesive side DOWN.

5. Cover with a cloth or towel and gently press with the iron for about 10 to 12 seconds.
6. Flip tank top over and press the other side with the iron for 5 to 10 seconds.  Be careful not to overheat.

7. Cool completely.  When the tank top is cool to the touch gently and slowly peel off the top layer.

NOTE: If the film is removed and some stones don’t adhere, place the film back down and reapply heat with pressure.  Then remove the film and put a light cloth over the iron-on and apply heat with light pressure for an additional 7 to 10 seconds.
And there you have it! If done properly you will have amazingly cute tanks for yourself and ladies to wear on your special day.
